A Call to Worship for LGBT Pride Weekend: Galatians 3:23-29

We belong to Christ—we are heirs according to the promise.
We are adopted siblings—we are beautiful misfits.

When God looks upon us, God says “You are good.”
We are loved. We are chosen. God has hopes and dreams for us.

God sees in each and every one of us a beloved child.
There is no favorite or black sheep. We are equally valued by God.

God made us all beautifully different.
We are many genders. We all love differently. There is no gay or straight. Male or female. “Cis” or trans.

We belong to Christ—we are heirs according to the promise.
We are all adopted into God’s family. We are all coequal partners in the building of the kin-dom of God. Glory be to God, who reveals Godself not as a solitary being, but as a divine community.
